Biography

My name is Biography.I'm supposed to tell you all about Marzze, but I find that very difficult to do. Not because of her, she is a great girl, but because of me: I can't decide what to say.

I could start by telling you that she is a visual artist, that love to draw and paint. But it wouldn't be enough, because you wouldn’t see her watercolors or her color pencil drawings. You wouldn't enjoy the ink drawings or the collages, nor either her expositions and  artistic installations. Besides, it’s pointless to say it, because here, on the website, you can see her work.

Maybe I could tell you that she went to the university (Universidad Pontificia Javeriana) and get interested in books as magical objects, and tell you that her graduation work had everything to do with memory and collecting. But you would still be missing the showcase where she kept her memories and all those beautiful and special little things that make part of them (of Marzze and the showcase; sometimes you can’t tell the difference between them, is like reading a book of secrets).

I could end this presentation by pointing that she loves children books, Maybe that will be useful for you. She loved them so much that she reads them, laugh with them, write them and illustrate them. And as she loved books, she also likes to teach little children how to read them and enjoy them.

Or I could try to close this by summarizing all the classes, workshops and studies she have made to draw, illustrate and write the way she does (I won`t  bother you with a list).
But you would be missing the most important thing of all: the spark that live in her eyes when she talks about the new things she has learn.
Or, maybe, the best way to finish this little chat is by telling you  that she is a short girl, with big brown eyes and crazy curly hair, that choose to have the funniest job of all. One funny job where she can create, illustrate, read, draw, paint and write a lot of stories.
